No Avila, out with a forearm injury.

Well our pitching has been good with the exception of JV in game one. I think Scherzer will pitch well and if we can just find a way to score 3 runs then we can play tomorrow. Once we go to the second time seeing a guy, we will score more runs I'm convinced.

I'm not a fan of Berry though. A strike out with 2 on and a dp, plus he looked bad doing it. I'd put in someone else batting second. Berry can pinch run. Infante had some hits, let him bat second heck I'd even bat kelly before him. Kind of disappointed in Prince too, looks to me like he's pressing.

I'm beyond that, although it's an excuse to drink. To a U-Michigan/Detroit fan, yesterday was disastrous. Today is Lions/Tiger debacle day. In other words, back to life as we know it.

I'd be surprised if Scherzer sees the 4th inning.
They would all be pitching better if they got some run production to give em a lead. Honestly. Its like all of a sudden it seems like they're found *He Who Shall Not Be Named* guide to hitting into the inning ending double play.

Next time we get to the ALCS we need to learn to not sweep it.

Win tomorrow, you got Verlander (weather permitting) on Monday, and you go back to SF down 3-2.

    Optimism....

Rain in Detroit for Monday nite - Wednesday. If there is a game 5, play it in the afternoon or prolong the WS in an extended rain delay?
