Looking in the mirror tonight, it looks like I may have recently chipped the almost 20 year-old dental bonding on one of my incisors that was a peg lateral. First world problems.

I was told by a dentist three years ago that the bonding would eventually need to be replaced with a pair of crowns. I guess she wasn't quite as much of a money-grubbing shyster as I thought.

I'm going to find this Bo Dietl jackwagon and beat him with a shovel for making these Arby's commercials.

I feel the same way about the elderly in the Safeco Insurance commercials.

There's a Whole Paycheck about 20 mins from where I live - given that I enjoy cooking, I've been a few times out of curiosity. Right off, I'll state that even though I loved the column, I've never experienced anything the author did - no judgmentalism, no health nut booths, etc. Granted, I do not shop the beauty or supplement aisles (didn't even know they existed, in fact). There are definitely things they do very well - I have the luxury of an above average Meijer's 10 mins from my house that has a solid (albeit small) cheese case, but I could spend $313 just at the WF cheese counter. Their seafood is the best, short of driving to an indy fish store in Royal Oak nearly an hour away. Their produce is the best of the chains, though the aforementioned Meijer's isn't too far behind (unless you're an organic nut). However, during the growing season, if there's a farmer's market within reasonable driving distance, you're usually going to find similar produce for a fraction of the price.

However, I enjoyed the column because I have no doubt that there are plenty of Whole Paycheck stores where her experience is the norm. Also, just based on her tiny pic, she's far from a "3".

The new Whole Foods in Maple Grove? Good God. None of them are as ******y as the Wedge Coop, though. Cripes.

Just fried up some bacon for salads for lunch the next couple days. The whole house smells like bacon now. This might not have been the best idea right before bed.

Bacon would actually help me sleep.

Over the next two days, I need to do a lot of baking. That can't be good before bed, either.

Never really developed a taste for tequila. Kind of hard to understand how you make a drink out of something that sharp, inhospitable. Now, bourbon is easy to understand.

In the 9 years since I move out of my parents' place, I have never once made bacon.

Or else someone may get butthurt. Can't have that going on here.

I saw a fox a few days ago run across a relatively busy two lane road and hop over a construction barrier wall. Maybe he was after a flock of geese that had landed near the corn field.
