    Really? I thought it was a typhoon if it was in the Pacific or Indian ocean.

    Are you sure? The date line doesn't mean anything (not that the Brits didn't do some dumb things when they ran the planet).

    When did Los Angeles move west of the Dateline? When a storm is east of the dateline it's called a Hurricane, west of the dateline it's a Typhoon (in the North Pacific).

    The season doesn't begin until June 1, but there is a low-probabality area over Cuba http://www.nhc.noaa.gov/.


    I also wanted to prove to Kepler that I can remember thread-title ideas from about a year ago.
