Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 3 - The Alan Trammell version
Way to overmanage again, Leyland. 18 pitches and one hit: Yank Villareal so Coke can give up 3 hits in a row. At least you avoided that dreadful lefty vs. lefty matchup, the only ****ing thing you ever consider.

I know it's an incredibly small sample size, but Porcello is batting .250 (3/12) in his career and was an excellent hitter in high school? Why are we bunting with him when there's other guys on this team who bat everyday but can't even hit .200?

Well, he's 23 and hasn't picked up a bat on a regular basis since high school. That was 5 years ago. Remember, there's also a DH throughout the minors, too. He's not accustomed to swinging a bat, and AL teams in general don't like having their pitchers take a swing.
Santiago just ****ed up there. Is there a reason we're not walking Votto?
