I didn't watch it. I saw the last 5 minutes when they win the cup.

If it was true it would have been shot in black and white. It was voted one of the worst hockey movies of all time.

Watching Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows-never got around to seeing it before this. Entertaining, but not as good as the first, IMO. Lane Pryce as Moriarty is interesting.

I liked the second more than the first. Agreed about Lane, but he nailed it. And the final scene? Awesome.

And Noomi Rapace is icing on the cake (she played the main gypsy).
Never really developed a taste for tequila. Kind of hard to understand how you make a drink out of something that sharp, inhospitable. Now, bourbon is easy to understand.

I don't know how to put my finger on why I'm meh about this movie. Really liked some of the characters - Loki, Thor and of course Iron Man (Robert Downey is great) - but the movie left me flat. I think for one that it may have been the pacing. All of the action was at the end in one giant, (too) long protracted battle.

All of that action stuff was well done, but we've all seen that now a hundred times in a hundred other movies. It fails to impress or even engage if you haven't developed an affinity for the characters or actual peril. I mean, who thought any of the Avengers were actually in any danger of dying? Or even getting hurt?

Guess I'm the only voice of dissent on this as everyone else on here seemed to enjoy it. I'd say it was good, not great. As a footnote, my 14 year old son fell asleep about two thirds of the way through and missed the rest - and didn't bother to watch the end the next day.

The Hulk/Thor thing was very funny though.
You arent the only one...I felt much the same way.

I agree. Took me a long time to see it as well and not really sure why. Good movie, but first one was better.

Once again Hollywood f's with history.

It was Ambassador Ken Taylor and the staff of the Canadian Embassy, not some CIA spook, that hid the Americans and led the efforts that eventually got them out of Tehran.

Soooo.....Affleck agreed to change the postscript. How generous of him.

Ben Affleck has altered the postscript of his movie about the 1979 Iranian hostage crisis after friends of Ken Taylor, former ambassador to Iran, complained about the insulting portrayal of the Canadian hero.

Taylor confirmed this change with political affairs specialist John Stall, Wednesday.

It's one of those shining moments in time for Canadians -- the heroic efforts of Taylor helped six Americans escape during the hostage crisis.

However, the movie version of the crisis, "Argo," gave all the credit to the Central Intelligence Agency and diminished Taylor's and Canada's role in the hostage escape.

It was screened at the Toronto International Film Festival, but friends of Taylor were horrified at how the Canadian was portrayed, and took action.

As it turns out, their efforts have been rewarded.

Affleck has called Taylor, invited him down to Hollywood, put up a private screening and agreed to change the ending postscript to more accurately reflect Taylor's and Canada's role.

I'm pretty sure I am getting the Blu-Ray box set of Bond movies for my birthday this month. All 22 movies + a holder for Skyfall when it comes out on Blu-Ray/DVD. I'm pretty excited about that. I've always wanted the set in some form or another.

It has arrived. Today is the day.
