I don't like it when Shrub wins, but man he sure can drive. It doesn't matter what his car looks like (or drives like), as long as it can get up to speed, he'll keep going for it.

      Especially in a nonpoints race.

That was the guy that "saved" his car last night? bbdl pointed it out, and while I HATE NASCAR, that was an impressive save.
Never really developed a taste for tequila. Kind of hard to understand how you make a drink out of something that sharp, inhospitable. Now, bourbon is easy to understand.

Indeed... He was the yellow car that got all sorts of slideways during the Jeff Gordon wreck...

It's a fine example of why I like the guy... Kid can flat out drive a racecar...

250 credentials were stolen at Daytona. I didn't realize Mayfield was out of jail yet.

Come on rain...go away...I want to see some racing tonight! I can't imagine there will be much of a crowd left down there for a 7 p.m. race tonight. Sucks for the fans/local businesses/track etc that this didn't happen as scheduled.

Is Daytona required to refund money if the race doesn't happen on the day its supposed to?

I don't think so. I think it is just like most sporting events. No refunds or exchanges. Everytime I go to a race I always take enough vacation time from work just in case things like this happen.

How come they don't do rain slicks like they do in Formula One? Please forgive my ignorance on this issue.
