    Awe-Inspiring Neg Rep

    I know many of you trolls feed on the hate like I do. I want to bring back the thread of posting the most vicious, funny, or original neg reps you've gotten this season. I'll start things off with this beauty from an apparent native of Wisconsin on New Years Day following my insulting the Packers' greatness:
    "**** OFF, BABY. GO CHANGE YOUR YOOPER DIAPER YOU LITTLE *****"
    (bonus points for the all-caps rage)
    Huskies are very intelligent and trainable. Huskies make an excellent jogging companion, as long as it is not too hot. Grooming is minimal; bathing is normally unnecessary.

    ****** is my latest one.

    I had another one where I made fun of Jeff Jackson for having a lazy eye. Turns out it is a glass eye, which I was unaware of.

      Not very awe inspiring, except in it's stupidity for not recognizing my sarcasm: "that was a stupid comment" - unsigned, of course. for my post in the "Why this was not also subject...JT Brown on Ben Blood" thread in DI which read:

      Pfft, Blood is a goon and deserved it, Zucker is not and didn't.

        I wish I could look past my last 25 or so reps, because I know I've had some dandies in the past, but can't remember them specifically.

        The grey reps are usually the best.

          I remember I had a few about how someone didn't take kindly to me not taking kindly to Union College (it was gray, I don't think I have to say who it was). I can't remember what it said, though.

            I used to have fun leaving neg reps back when people were getting all excited about maxing out their rep values. I'd go on some nonsensical rant and would often hit the character limits. Some people thought they were funny, a few complained and ultimately I had to stop.

                The only drawback of Ignore is the worst posters leave the best neg rep.

                  for some reason, this comment inspired an idea for a videogame innovation. you are playing ice hockey video game, there's a big hit, the players glare at each other, and instead of "the gloves come off" and they start circling each other, "the mouthpiece comes out" and they start trash-talking each other....


                  (sort of like the movement among gamers to win games without killing people, not for any idealistic reasons, but simply because it is much harder to win that way and they like the challenge!)

                  I have not lost a fistfight in many years, because I have become quite adept at avoiding them from the outset. Sharp words don't come across quite as sharply when offered up in a cordial tone with a grin, in which the "don't take yourself too seriously champ" undertone is more easily discerned.

                          I've gotten some beauts and normally it's because I was being a moran. I got one on Saturday though that still has me shaking my head. It was from a Maine fan, in a UNH score update thread (they were playing Merrimack), and the post that he neg repped me was an update on the time and the score. No mention of Maine, or Timmayy or anything Black Bear related in my post. Maybe he just didn't want to hijack the thread to tell me UNH sucks, go Maine, but I was pretty dumbfounded when I saw it.
