  • 2012 Minnesota Twins: 99 Problems...

Pitchers and Catchers Report Feb. 18th.

Projected Lineup for Opening day vs the Orioles at Camden Yards on April 6th.

    1 Denard Span, CF
    2 Jamey Carroll, SS
    3 Joe Mauer, C
    4 Justin Morneau, 1B
    5 Josh Willingham, RF
    6 Ryan Doumit, DH
    7 Danny Valencia, 3B
    8 Alexi Casilla, 2B
    9 Ben Revere, LF

Carl Pavano has already been announced by Gardy as the Opening Day starter.

This team is in deep doo-doo unless we make some more moves. We are one injury away from being an average AAA team.

    99 problems and a

    Glass Joe is one
    Dizzy Morneau is one
    bullpen is one
    starting rotation is one
    unreliable closer is one

Quite possibly the most accurate thread title I've ever seen. This team is going to rival the Wild for being unbearable to watch.

Casilla still starting is a major problem. When are we going to have a decent infield up the middle again?

Plenty of terrible players win WS titles - it's a team game, after all.

I know it is just a pipe dream - but I was sad we didn't even attempt to bring in Lord Albert Pujols or another big time right handed stick

I could name 3-4 people in the projected starting lineup I would rather Punto over...

If you think the projected starting lineup is bad, just think about June when we have lost the usual suspects to injury and Casilla to being a terrible player.

Last years Twins team made me realize I am more of a Twins bandwagon guy than anyone. Thanks to the "Hunt for 100" I was rooting against them.

I'm planning to be at Target Field Memorial Day weekend. Any advice on seating for the best combination of cheap and viewable? I'm pretty stingy but might splurge for one of the games. I think individual games go on sale Feb. 25.
Huskies are very intelligent and trainable. Huskies make an excellent jogging companion, as long as it is not too hot. Grooming is minimal; bathing is normally unnecessary.
