So, when I was waiting for the Megabus to take me back to Boston Thanksgiving weekend I was standing in line in this old parking lot and there was a sign that said something like "New York - home to six professional sports teams. And the Mets." I thought it was funny and sad at the same time. Being made fun of in your own city?Comment

For that matter...
Bonilla's last game as a Met was in 1999. We will be paying him until 2035.
Darryl's was in 1990. It is not known how long we will be paying him (or rather, the IRS and his ex-wife.)
