    The USCHO Christmas poem-Enjoy!

    Twas the year before realignment
    here at USCHO
    The Big Ten is upon us
    All wrapped up with a bow

    First Penn State joined
    then Michigan came
    Wait? What's this?
    Where's Notre Dame?

    They left their own conference
    The CCHA
    to join Hockey East
    get out of their way!

    They need a twelfth team
    but who will it be
    to take on the likes
    of BU and BC

    And Colorado College
    would join with the Sioux
    to form the NCHC
    with SCSU

    Times they are changing
    and a league they did kill
    but what to do
    with Alabama Huntsville?

    This sport we all love
    will seem all brand new
    Merry Christmas everyone
    and Happy New Year too!

            I'll give a USCHO version a shot:

            Twas the night before Christmas
            In the USCHO lair
            No one was posting
            Not even Ralph Baer

            Then a new thread was started
            Because someone had an itch
            Who was it, you ask?
            'Twas the poster named Twitch!

            Soon les, diva and wt joined,
            And the rest of the harlots
            But there were no martinis,
            And therefore no Scarlet

            The thread attracted
            The posters in droves
            When gmann asked,
            "But where, praytell, is Hoves?"

            After some pondering,
            goldy_331 ventured a guess
            "Probably at the bar with
            bbdl and MNS!"

            The air was filled joy
            And songs and good beer,
            Finally Bakunin yelled
            Merry Christmas to all, and happy new year!
            Never really developed a taste for tequila. Kind of hard to understand how you make a drink out of something that sharp, inhospitable. Now, bourbon is easy to understand.

                  While I was making it up as I was typing it, I wanted to get Goon, Happy, Dirty, and some others in there, but it wasn't working, really. I could do a second one, but it'd be a book, not a post.
