    Down 17-7, why didn't Illinois kick a FG on 4th and 2 from around the 20? At least take a shot an onside kick.

      Clemson didn't feel like defense was necessary tonight, as they came back from 35-17 early in the third, to win 56-45. The Tigers are now 7-0, and face North Carolina at Death Valley next weekend. Sammy Watkins with 345 total yards and three touchdowns...not too bad for a freshman. Andre Ellington also rushed for over 200 yards and two scores.

                  It definitely was a sight to see. It was a fun atmosphere to be around. It was our biggest recruiting day as well, so many football and basketball recruits were there to see this atmosphere as well! Good weekend for Iowa!

                    Big Ten suspends Michigan State's Gholston

                    Madison - Two days before hosting No. 4 Wisconsin on Saturday, the Michigan State coaches learned starting defensive end William Gholston will miss the key game.

                    On Thursday, Gholston, a 6-foot-7, 280-pound sophomore, was suspended by the Big Ten.

                      It's fairly disappointing that this came from the conference and not Michigan State itself. Michigan State is getting the rep of being a "dirty team," which is somewhat true. It helps that defense play great, but they cross the line a few too many times.
