We were good when it came to that. I was pretty nervous about it, so I soaked the whole area down with a hose before we started then also sprayed it down a couple times throughout the night. Also, it was pretty sheltered back where the fire was, so we didn't get the full brunt of the wind.

Also, thanks to my fire-building skills, we had the correct structure for a small, contained fire. Went with the log-cabin (slow-burning, more for heat) over the tee-pee (fast-burning, probably the most common structure). Also, the log-cabin is more manageable for any stray ashes and such, and is a more stable structure (it won't lean/tip over).
Never really developed a taste for tequila. Kind of hard to understand how you make a drink out of something that sharp, inhospitable. Now, bourbon is easy to understand.

Guess they finally started locking threads again.

Yes, but mine only works in MN, since it is MN sports related.

Sweet Jesus. Education Connection isn't just doing lame earworm jingles anymore. Now they are putting Shannen Doherty on the television.

You could go as either Jane or Judy Jetson. I saw the ads today and they got the hair pieces about perfect.

I want to see someone do Zombie Jesus just once.

jmh, you're Jewish, right? I think you could pull of Zombie Jesus, rumor has it that he was Jewish, too.

The big Halloween costume in this area being sold at iParty is Whitey Bulger. It's causing a bit of a stir with the families of his victims.

I'd do it, if I did the whole Halloween thing anymore.

I have considered being Keith Stone, but I can't in good conscience do that without committing to drinking Keystone Light all night.

That just isn't going to happen.
