to be fair, if John Buccigross catches a topten worthy hockey goal, it tends to make it on the top ten list...hell Michigan Tech made it for a goal against the gophers earlier this season.

And Tech Basketball made the top ten this year with a buzzer beater win over LSSU.

Buccigross is so out of place at ESPN. If only Tom Mees had lived and used his influence then hockey might mean more to them. He had the gravitas to steer programming and he loved hockey. Maybe they'd broadcast highlight reels of outstanding saves and beautiful goals instead of the same slam dunk 50 times a show.

I saw a bunch of hockey players in the juniors tweeting about a shot they saw on #SCtopten and I was flummoxed that the Mothership covered hockey...then I realized they were talking about SportsCentre, not SportsCenter.

I saw a bunch of hockey players in the juniors tweeting about a shot they saw on #SCtopten and I was flummoxed that the Mothership covered hockey...then I realized they were talking about SportsCentre, not SportsCenter.

No but I'm sick of the Te'o coverage. And Combine stuff and Draft stuff. Good thing I barely watch anymore.

I get that the NFL is the most popular league and all, but you would still think that for all their over-coverage of it that the ABC family of networks would be showing more than just one game a week.

I like the snowmobile and dirt bike events. The rest does nothing for me.

I think that's exactly what's wrong with the X Games. It used to be cool with stuff like street luge and skateboarding and bicycles and stuff. They jumped the shark when they started doing "sports" with motorized vehicles.

Nothing annoys me more than the NHL being ignored when there are no NBA games going on. I think this whole Jordan at 50 thing is something some producer concocted to make sure the NHL never gets a lead on SportsCenter.

I wanted to see NFL news, so I tuned into NFL Live today. They tied Jordan into THAT (slam dunking over the goalposts fluff bit). Yeah.

I think basketball is as boring as watching paint dry. But I'd even watch soccer before some stupid hippy doing flips on his boogie board.
