We always hear about how European drinking culture & American drinking culture are inherently different. Personally, I think the youngins drink just as much as their counterparts in both regions.

I'd like to think so, too. Too lazy to bring up the DWI stats and such, but I think it's much less in Europe than here, due to laws and attitudes about drinking. Heck, even compared to 20 years ago, I think America has gotten better on that.

DWI stats will be skewed - Europe has better and earlier drinking education, and greater public transportation. Don't have to worry about drunk driving when you can easily ride a subway, bus, or train home for much less money than a cab here in America.
