Re: Professional Wrestling Thread: Sign It Before The Stock Plummets Some More
Just got home from working at the RAW show at the Bryce Jordan Center. It was deja vu all over again. The crowd contained the same mix of people and the bouts were scripted almost move for move as back when I was a cop working Sunday night wrestling at Maple Leaf Gardens 30+ years ago!
I was ringside for the bouts and then in the stage door parking lot after the event. Scripted or not, those guys are athletes, and it was a hoot to see them all come out and jump in their individual cars and drive off to the next event.
Apparently The Big Show is the 21st Century Andre the Giant. Still miss the Sheik -- the ultimate baddie!

They had Edge... come out to plug a show on syfy.... before trying to make this Bryan/Kane thing seem new and interesting? And then they cut to commercial in the middle of the ****ing segment!

I go to the box now, and feel shame, for bad memory.

About the only storyline angle that I can remember WWE dropping from Kane was that God awful one where Triple H was accusing him of getting it on with his dead HS friend. ICK!!

Rumor mill is he was clinically dead for about 20 minutes. If that's the case, we've probably seen the last of him on TV.

Hell, truthfully, with all of the staff that the WWE does have on hand, having that heart attack there was probably the best thing for him as they were able to get to him so quickly. Three stents in sounds like it qualifies to be a "Widowmaker" heart attack.
