    It could be because he's got a movie coming out this Summer.... He's starring in Marvel's GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY... You would want to have him be prominent within the WWE leading up to that, not buried somewhere mid-card... Doesn't mean he has to be shoved down our throats and catapulted to the tippy-top, but I'm sure that is probably playing a factor...

    Exactly, they've had enough guys that can become stars but they've never really given them the chance. What I don't get is the huge push for Batista, I wouldn't consider him a big star. Certainly not bigger than somebody like Punk.

    Correct. No matter how much people hate Cena he works his *** off the entire year.

Do they not hear the crowd pops for Bryan, Ziggler and others?     Punk has evidently left WWE. WWE giving him the Benoit treatment removing his DVDs/merch.

    All-hands creative meetings Thursday and Friday. "Nothing is sacred" in terms of currently existing storylines.

    He's one of the only guys worth a damm. Not sure why Batista gets to walk in and get anything he wants without having to earn it. Glad the fans agreed at the Rumble and on Raw this week.
