            this is almost embarassing.

            but hey, atleast our batting order won't take a hit? cause he sure as hell couldn't hit water if it fell out of a boat this year.

                Since google is your friend, it looks like

                bilateral leg injury = sprain
                which is kinda like:
                contusion = bruise

                It just sounds better.
                Never really developed a taste for tequila. Kind of hard to understand how you make a drink out of something that sharp, inhospitable. Now, bourbon is easy to understand.

                  This is from the USA today article
                  ". Gardenhire said Mauer's knee has been OK, but leg weakness has contributed to soreness through the body."

                  Hockey players would laugh at this guy.

                    well he was a basketball guy in high school...

                    Maybe this is just a reason for Mauer to take time off to figure his **** out at the plate and stop giving other teams' second basemen fielding practice during games.

                        So, we have two ineffective closers. Just like last year, no big deal.

                        Wait, now they can't hit. Great.

                          It's when two parts of your leg agree to be hurt at the same time.

                            To be fair hockey players laugh at a lot of guys in other sports.

                            Your point still stands though.

                                So how long till Nathan is no longer closer?
                                This is getting ridiculous.
