With the NPI coming into play next year, and using the dials D1 uses (25% win percentage/75% SOS) here would have been the field last season using pre-NCAA tournament data.
It is my understanding that D3 will set their own dials. In fact, each D3 sport will set their own dials. So, thanks for the post, but I'm afraid it may not be too useful (I know you just did it for fun) until we hear exactly what the D3 women's hockey dials are going to be.

I have the same sense of humor as the same thought crossed my mind. :-) (I think we've both been around this sport for too long...)

I don't they would succeed in the above, but the drama would be funny.

Maybe the NCAA does waive the waits for the LEC and MASCAC? Under the premise that there would still be 3 Pool Cs? I wouldn't be counting on it if I were either but seeing the bids on paper it doesn't seem as farfetched...

Edit: I'm not sure why but it keeps forcing the LEC and MAC onto one line...

And there it is... Norwich to the LEC as an affiliate member, meaning it'll be at-large or bust for the Cadets.

That's what I thought too. I don't know if NU would bite the bullet for a year to save face, but time will tell.

Also, with Northland staying open (for now), and the access ratio changing, we should have a 13-team postseason in the 2024-25 season.

I would assume the only remaining domino would be Norwich to the LEC and then Salve to LEC or CCC.

It still needs one more approval but NCAA DIII has voted to eliminate Pool B so there will only be automatic bids and at-large once that passes.
