I'll put our 4th line of Holk, Stewart and Malachino against anyone's 4th line based on speed alone.
If we run 4 like against St Lawrence every line has its own strengths and can be a problem, but OSU has worked the COVID transfer portal better than anyone so it should be some terrific hockey with a number of players on both sides who will soon be playing in the WPHL and for olympic medals on the US and CAN National teams.

I like your thoughts on 4th line vs 4th line. I don't know who Ohio State's lines will be but no matter who it will be it should be an interesting matchup.

Great opportunity for Simpson and Bard to showcase that they are two of the best D in the country. They don't get the credit that they deserve because they get overshadowed by coverage of the bigger programs. It will be interesting to see Barnes who it seems like is in her 10th year of college hockey

Almost...Career spans over 7 seasons. She has a 1/7/99 birthdate meaning she will turn 25 this season...

At the outset, we could hang with the dude...

I didn't realize there was anyone playing college hockey who wasn't born in the 2000's.

She's about the same age as most Freshman hockey players on the men's side

So true, you hit the nail on the head...With NIL payments and a legit pro league now for the women too it will be interesting to see if they stay around to pad their stats for another year or possibly win a championship with COVID eligibility left or go pro. Kalty will have that choice this year.

Wow sloppy last few minutes all over the ice but with Osborne's unbelievable net minding we somehow made one less mistake and Emma P nailed it for the winner! What a great memory from your first college game!

We tied in the first game last year and then lost 7-2 in the second. Not this year. We have to bring the same intensity we had tonight plus 20% tomorrow as you know they are ****ed and will be flying...Go Gate...

I'll say this, Colgate played a much more cohesive game than Ohio State.

An exciting game to watch, with lots of energy from both teams. Clearly two very talented teams, though each missed some scoring opportunities. A great crowd, including a supportive turnout from the men's hockey team, pep band, and many other students.

Has Colgate ever been ranked #1 ? A win today would be so great !

That's great hearing the pep band was there and fantastic that the men's team turned out to see the women play.

He's new this year and was butchering many of the Gate player's names as well. Here's hoping he's better tonight...Go Gate.
