On the replay I watched when I got home with O'Brien's goal (it was on the other end live) you could absolutely still see the puck behind Thiele's right pad and there was no major contact that would have changed the fact that everything was sliding backwards. The ref was right on top of the net to the point that he pointed directly downwards to signal goal.Last edited by BadgerPete; 02-25-2024, 06:38 PM.

The first two goals you scored Friday were off horrific Wisconsin turnovers, bad decisions made in a split second. Wisconsin's second and third goals were scored in transition where obviously there was some bad decisions positionally in allowing those transitions to work out against you.
I do think overall that Tosu is the better team.

I think the two teams are pretty evenly matched, despite our 3-1 record against the Badgers this season. We won an overtime game in Columbus. If that one goes the other way, the record vs UW is 2-2. One thing we have going for us this season is this is the deepest team we have ever had. Coach can send all four of our forward lines out there and get scoring from any of them. We are solid on the back end as well (Ds and goaltending). Gonna be a fun ride.

The replay I'm referring to is just the brief segment shown immediately following the live action. Instant Replay; not replay of the full game.

OSU still dragging it’s feet on a new arena and others move on.

As for RMU, good luck to them in getting that state funding. I hope they succeed.
