Nadine is going to need to do some of her best coaching after today.
Psyche? Well, I think the WCHA Champions will be just fine. Still the #1 TEAM in the country. If you have been watching the Buckeyes this season they lead the WI Badgers 3 games to 2. They had a few players today not running the Buckeye system. Good to see what happens when you don't run the system against a team like the Badgers. The Badgers will score when you make a mistake. Good wake up call tonight. Dominated ? What were the stats Eddie??? 33 shots on goal by the Buckeyes to 22 for WI. What's been the margin between these two teams all season?

I thought it really turned south when we didn't get the call for that incident in front of the Badgers net and we got called for tripping on the Badgers following possession. If we had been on the PP instead of Wisconsin maybe we could have turned it around and gained momentum, at least that's how I wish it would have played out.

Luckily, it didn't surface two weeks from now.

Correct. A fantastic experience. Looking forward to seeing how they respond at home next Saturday. No more silver bullets. GO BUCKS!

Yea I’m honestly not even talking about girls high school hockey. It’s everything from the ground up. And public rinks have to make room, full stop. Sorry to hijack! Go Buckeyes!

The rink and no girls high school hockey are 2 reasons for me that the transfer portal has been worth it, and any mortgage on the future has already been repaid. The rink is symbolic of how neglected girls hockey has been in this whole state, except by a handful of devoted programs. OSU being successful, let alone winning a national championship, has positively impacted this neglected niche of a niche sport in the state. Not the only driver, COGH and the Blue Jackets getting involved are huge too. But seriously if the Buckeyes temporarily drop to 5th best in the WCHA in the future (pretty conservative to say that would happen) and in return they have 1 or more national championships, some tourney and reg season championships, maybe a new rink, and increased girls hockey participation in the state, it’s fair to say the covid transfer portal era actions paid off.

Men shouldn't play sports. They're too emotional.

Minnesota is the #5 seed, and will travel to the #4. #4 will be the loser of the ECAC championship, Colgate or Clarkson.

The Buckeyes flexed their muscles today in 5-0 win over Minnesota-Duluth. Ohio State scored two goals in the first period and that was all they would need as the Bulldogs were unable to solve Buckeye netminder Raygan Kirk in this one. Scoring the Buckeye goals in the first period were Joy Dunne and Kiara Zanon as the teams went into the first break with the Bucks up 2-0. Ohio State continued to attack and got goals from Emma Peschel and Makenna Webster to go into the final intermission with a 4-0 lead. The Buckeyes would tack on one more goal in the third period from Olivia Mobley to make the final score 5-0. The Buckeyes outshot the Bulldogs 44-17 in this one. Raygan Kirk stopped all 17 shots she faced in the win. Minnesota-Duluth goaltender Hailey MacLeod stopped 39 of the 44 shots she faced in the loss. Minnesota-Duluth should make the NCAA Tournament based on the latest PairWise rankings and will wait to see where they are playing. Ohio State will move on and take on Wisconsin in the WCHA Final Faceoff Championship Game tomorrow at 3:00 pm EST. Wisconsin advanced with a 4-3 OT win over Minnesota. Minnesota will make the NCAA Tournament and based on the PairWise rankings, they may be heading to Hamilton, NY, to take on Colgate in the 4 vs. 5 matchup. Don't quote me on that.

No call Bradshaw doing his thing today by not doing anything! I've watched numerous trips, an interference and Bilka gets thrown down and he takes her as well!
Sure hope he doesn't get in ice tomorrow!
