        Mazzie? LOL.

There is a certain factor of the Muzzinator going down to defeat at the hands of the sinners that is interesting but my gosh what a terrible result...

        • Kronish tournament MVP (obviously). I don't know about anything about other 'all tournament' selections.

So you wouldn't have been happier to have seen Clarkson win? Not sure I fully understand some Eastern fans.

Apparently Muzzy poached their top recruit from them. But yes it's a bit of a perplexing comment. I would have been happy to see MN win, but not happier than I am now. Not even close.

I miss some of those eastern fans like Hockeyeast33 (I think that was the moniker) that used to come on here to belittle the western teams. Where are they now? Two straight years of all WCHA national championship finals has taken a toll on the trolls.

                • Twenty-five years ago today UNH won the 1st women's national championship in hockey over Brown on March 21, 1998 sponsored by the AWCHA (funded by the USOC and the NCAA). In the semis, UNH beat Minnesota and Brown prevailed over Northeastern. Winny Brodt was the Most Outstanding Player in the tournament which was held at the Fleet Center in Boston (the current TD Garden).

Thanks to all of the pioneering players from the '70's, '80's, '90's, and early 2000's that brought women's hockey to where it is today.
