    Brilliant NCAA. Just brilliant.
The proper link is now up.

Either Hamilton is within 500 miles or they are continuing with 600 miles from last year. TES is no longer public to verify.

      First Round

      Norwich at Colby
      Nazareth at Hamilton
      Suffolk at Middlebury

      QF:

      Colby/Norwich at Amherst
      Nazareth/Hamilton at Adrian
      Suffolk/Middlebury at Plattsburgh
      River Falls at Gustavus Adolphus

Bit of a surprise. Great for bracket integrity. Adrian will host the winner of Hamilton-Nazareth. Should Hamilton win, they're just 530 miles from Adrian. Does that require a flight? Or can the NCAA make them bus since it's so close?

Why the heck the took down TES I have no idea. Thankful because I downloaded all the numbers on to a spreadsheet for my own records a few weeks before it went down.

My guess is 600 is the new 500? Must be in the manual somewhere…

If 600 is the new 500 it is not in the published manual. The 2022-23 Pre-Championship Manual on ncaa.org still references 500 miles.

                Very happy to be wrong.

500 is hard 500...if they can get a flight for them, they have to fly.

600 was a one-year thing. It is back to 500 this year.

So is Hamilton flying to Adrian if they beat Nazareth?

They will have option to yes...some teams have opted to bus in the past even over the 500 because flights have been difficult to find on short notice.

Plus, there's the hassle factor which can make busing easier.

Hamilton would have to bus to either Syracuse or Rochester. I don't know which airport in Michigan they would fly into, and then of course bus from there to Adrian. Add in all the time at the airports...

Very good bracket integrity until you get to the last two seeds, I can not understand why Hamilton doesn't get Suffolk and Middlebury get Nazareth unless it has something to do with distance restrictions.
