Answer this....was it stupid of her to hire a guy who seemingly would not be able to attain the degree required to keep his job?

By the way......1 to 0. smile.

It seems futile to try and discuss most anything with the slOwSU faithful. Their world is a mythical place with unicorns and rainbows, duckies and bunnies...A Shambhala of sorts with peace, love, and Bobby Sherman.

Sheesh, What could go wrong with living in that bubble?

Coach James Wisniewski at the time couldn't go to school at the time as he has 4 children under the age of 9 and was moving his family out of state.

Coach Peter Elander left to return to Europe only to return the tOSU and boy are we happy to have him and his family back!

OK, so then why didn't Muzerall use that "recurring ability" to get some other "accomplished person" former NHL player who does have a college degree instead of "a 22 year old that has never experienced that level of hockey"?

When Tony Granato was hired to be the men's head coach at Wisconsin, he had left school short of a degree to go play professionally. So while he was head coach, he also took classes to complete his degree. I don't know if he got it done that first year, I expect we could find out pretty readily.

So couldn't the NHL OSU assistants have done likewise, and so continue to have the OSU player continue to be coached by "NHL minds", etc?

Heck yeah I cheerlead for tOSUs Head Coach. A strong confident women that's showing my daughter and other young women that men aren't the only ones that can be bad ***!

I only post about coach on tOSU thread ... unless another thread takes a shot at the program that's untrue. Aka misinformation lol

Coach ZH chose to move on (her decision)... I think coach wanted to start a family I know coach was newly married. Coach was a HUGE loss.

As for breaking down 7 staffs no need as only two coaches in seven years were not invited back. Coach Jessica Koizumi and Coach Emily Weat are the only coaches that Coach Muzerall let go.

Coach Kline to get a few years under the program and then move on as a Head Coach. That's one way Coach Muz sees how to grow the women's game Coach the coaches!

It's takes time to get processes put in place. Coach Muz now has those processes in place. tOSU is a BIG machine and everything takes time.

50 percent of coach's in today's world have NO part of being a coach.

Nothing is black and white as one poster seems to only see.

Please give me examples of coaches that left the program that should not have? And maybe I can slowly walk you through what happened
Maybe, in light of the Ministry of Truth's "reworking" of the web sites, you could list the assistant coaches for each year, and the reason or reasons they left. Because I certainly haven't paid attention or remember from year to year.

Mostly, I'm giving you (and the others) a hard time for your incessant cheerleading of Muzerall. It's OK to say something didn't go as planned, that a coach didn't work out, or a recruit that she wanted got away, etc. Not everything she does is the greatest thing EVA! I know it's a bit of exaggeration, but it feels like you guys would be "Yay, Zoe Hickel is the new assistant coach! Great job by Muz hiring her!" and then a year later "Yay, Zoe Hickel is leaving the coaching staff! Great job By Muz in letting her go!"

So you go to the Wayback Machine's page ( https://archive.org/web/ ) and have it look up http://ohiostatebuckeyes.com/sports/w-hockey/roster/ it will show you what that URL looked like on certain rather random dates when they happened to make a copy of the page. They have copies of the roster page going back to July of 2018. (Maybe OSU changed the roster page URL around then; otherwise it might have had even older copies.)

The Internet Archive also has free to download - legally! - movies, old TV shows, music, etc.
That has nothing to do with tOSU Womens Hockey. tOSU media is run and controlled outside of athletics.

(And I think I had noticed this before, but am reminded again today. If you go to the "roster" pages at the OSU web site to look at who the coaches were, say, three or four years ago, likely as not you won't find them listed there. I guess once they leave, the OSU Ministry of Truth "corrects" the roster page for that year. LOL.)

At any rate it’s unfortunate because it erases history. Perhaps the info lives on another site but this is why college hockey stats.net was so nice. An archive of history in a plain format.

The rosters of the AWCHA champions aren’t accessible for example, other than Minnesota’s.
