Max Gavin is the new assistant women's hockey coach at BC ?? Seriously ? Dartmouth woman's ice hockey ?
Let me first make it clear that I'm sure Max Gavin is a good guy and a good coach. I know absolutely nothing about him.
But is this the best BC can do after losing Courtney Kennedy ? I have said on this thread many times that this was an ENORMOUS opportunity for Kinger to bring in a rainmaker to try and turn around the failing program and this is the best she can do ? Has anyone looked at the Dartmouth women's hockey program over the last 4-5 years ? They are a complete joke of a program. I mean as bet as it gets in women's college hockey. 6-21-3 last year. 8-21-0 the the year before. It looks like they just cleaned house with their coaching staff as well.
Sorry but this is really concerning. I'm stunned actually. I'm talking about Boston College Women's Ice Hockey !
