Are the number of scholarships regulated by the ncaa, league or a school? And then it gets complicated because you have in state tuition and out of state tuition. Of course my perspective is from a public institutional perspective. I can recall from men's hockey where a canadian player gets a full scholarship and a kid from wisconsin would only get a partial due to the tuition cost difference.
it's unrealistic to think every student athlete is on scholarship.

I've never heard or seen the term "preferred walk-on" used if reference to a hockey player. That doesn't mean it doesn't get used that way, but I don't recall ever seeing it.

I thought next year was going to be the Sinners and then everybody else but this lineup that the Yuckeyes will have for next year puts them right up there with the Sinners. I mean, why even bother with freshman recruits?

She signed the 4 freshmen she wanted - all top tier players!

Seriously, you don't see the issue where you're saying she signed the 4 freshmen she wanted, all top tier players (4 forwards I believe), on one hand and then brings in, not just 1 or 2, but 4 forward transfers and every on of them top tier players in their own right? Quite the logjam at the top of the lineup and that doesn't even touch the subject of the returning forwards in the lineup.

No, you didn't "tell us so". You posted "I know something you don't know". Then you waited until someone else "told us so".
There's a guy on the UW threads that does this from time to time. I don't understand it when he does it either.
I don't get the point of it.
