          • 15 minutes to game time - Penn State is at home vs Syracuse on BTN+: https://www.bigtenplus.com/en-int/playerpage/1557396

As always, this is a big CHA series for Penn State, and yet another chance to get some payback for a Syracuse team that always seems to be a pain in Penn State's side.

            • Kampersal has shaken up the lines, which should be interesting: https://twitter.com/PennStateWHKY/st...710145/photo/1

              • After one, it's Penn State up 1-0 on a goal from Kiara Zanon. Shots on goal are 14-12 for Penn State, and Penn State took the only penalty. Syracuse didn't have a shot on goal for the first seven minutes of the game, but started to get into it when they got their powerplay chance. The second half of the period looked more even, but I think Penn State is really getting the better chances so far.

                • After two, Penn State is up 3-0 on goals from Mya Vaslet and Alyssa Machado. Syracuse took the only penalty of the period. Shots on goal are 25-14 for Penn State. Penn State dominated the second period.

                  • Penn State beats Syracuse 4-0 on a third period goal from Tessa Janecke. Shots on goal were 40-17 for Penn State, and they took the only third period penalty. Syracuse was never in this game after the first period, and hopefully Penn State stays on the gas tomorrow, as they've never swept Syracuse and it would be nice to finally do that. Passing was much better than usual, but I'm still going to complain about defenders bending at the offensive blue line instead of pinching. It didn't matter much today, but I'd love to see that change.

                    • 4-0 win and you are still complaining. That's a tough customer. 17 shots only is shocking for Syracuse. Bothun with two shutouts in a row!

                        • After one at Penn State, it's Penn State up 4-1 against Syracuse, on goals from Kiara Zanon, Olivia Wallin, Julie Gough, and Izzy Heminger. Shots on goal are 15-10 for Penn State, and each team took two penalties. This looks just like yesterday's first period.

                          • After two, Penn State is up 6-3 on Syracuse, with goals from Eleri MacKay and Kiara Zanon. Shots on goal are 25-15 for Penn State, and each team took a penalty in the second. Syracuse started the second period on fire, all over Penn State, but the tide turned about halfway through, and Penn State really turned it on to take the game over again.

                            • Penn State sweeps Syracuse with a final score of 11-3, on third period goals from Olivia Wallin, Maeve Connolly, Elleri MacKay, Julie Gough, and Kiara Zanon for her first career hat trick. Shots on goal were 40-18 for Penn State, and Penn State took the only penalty of the third period. I don't know how this one got so out of hand, but once Penn State started scoring they just never got off the gas. This is (finally) their first sweep of Syracuse, ever, so that monkey is off their backs.
