A week ago the Ivy League denied granting an extra year of eligibility to its spring athletes and since then Harvard, Yale and Princeton have denied those athletes the option of withdrawing from school to preserve their eligibility. The Washington Post reported over 90 Ivy athletes had already entered the transfer portal.

And no way Alvarez would take this position if it was football we were talking about.

An utterly horrible, unfathomable decision, IMO. I'm angered and disappointed by it. I hope the athletes involved can find new 'homes' for their delayed senior seasons. Their gain, and Wisconsin's loss.

Maybe you should report them to the "authorities" so they can be arrested for their so called irresponsibility...

HAHA. It's funny that low gas prices are awesome for our pocketbooks but bad for our 401K's. I never dreamt cheap gas would be the considered a bad thing. When we took the kids to Yellowstone, or tried to before our van broke down, gas was like $4.50 a gallon back then.

It should be that way everywhere. Menards has banned kids under 16.

In any case, east coast baseball fans will get a kick out of the new A.D. in this piece, the colorful distracter-in-chief himself, Bobby Valentine. A few short weeks ago this would have been a feel good story about the growth of the women’s game.

Valentine has been in that position for a few years now. And has done a very good job for Sacred Heart.
