Go Gate! Take down the rodentettes!

Looks like Greig is doing awesome for your team. Glad to see it.

Is Osborne injured or is Murphy just being given a shot? First time in years we don't have total confidence in goal. Agreed finishing is key but keep shooting team especially on the PP. Pepper the goalie, jam the crease and plan for a screen or rebound goal...ugly goals count just as much.

Outshoot another opponent and finally win. Announcer said Colgate needs to finish its chances which has been true for over a month. Glad we could come out on the right side for a change. Banged-up or not, we need to find ways to finish and win. Don’t know that Osborne is the answer and her absence isn’t that unfortunate.

Game was close in score but we generally took it to BC and buried them in shots against 55-22. It was great because the female color analyst was a clearly rooting for BC and it shut her up.

Good win today by a banged up team. Still missing Sammy, Nemo and now Kayle is out. 2 top 6 forwards and starting goalie. But keep on grinding.

Laughing and crying at my last post. Quinnipiac definitely had a stingy goalie and their team as a whole played great defense. They kept their sticks down on the ice and cleared every loose puck. Colgate rarely shot from the perimeter and tried their predictable tic-tac-toe play time and time again. No. 8 in the polls this week, remain at No. 9 in PWR...this is a very cusp-y team and would argue a good team but it cannot capitalize or finish a play. Osborne in net is 9th in ECAC gaa, which is a huge problem that will likely not improve until we play the lower echelon again. Feels like something needs to change and the team needs to refocus and recharge, if that's possible. Have lost my optimism but still proud that the program continues to do well and that recruits still choose to play for 'Gate.

Tired of running into hot goaltenders and they’re never ours. We can never finish. Another missed opportunity but we seemed to give it everything we had. Outshot our opponent but still think we’re looking for that perfect tic-tac-toe play. Just shoot the puck and create rebounds. I think Qpac will be tougher and stingier, especially their goalie. Four teams now ahead of us in the PWR, where we have been stagnant - and 3 of them didn’t play last year. You knew this was going to happen and this puts last year’s lame schedule and success into perspective.

In the ECAC only for men not for women. Don't know about other conferences.

    Scoreless after OT. Shoot out?

I wish Coach would tell our goalie to stay put. Time and again she puts us in harms way with her unnecessarily aggressive and risky trips away from the net. It seems she has no sense of how quick the action is or where the other teams' players are. Fine against RIT but not fine in games like today's where we see playing a great team.

Two Top-10 foes come to Hamilton: No. 10 Princeton & No. 6 Quinnipiac. Time to put up or shut up. Do not see a Colgate sweep but hope for the best.
