Team adidas (Minnesota) won 4-2 last night, finishing 5-1 in the US Secret Dream Gap Tour.
Abby Roque led all skaters with 11 points in the tour. Surprisingly Hannah Brandt had just 1 point in 6 games, on the loaded Minnesota roster. For Women’s Sports Foundation (New Hampshire) Decker led the team with 8 points.
Hensley led all goalies in save percentage and GAA.
Mike Murphy compiled the spreadsheet below which lists all sorts of statistics from the tour for skaters and goalies. If you are interested in women’s hockey stats he also has a website called theirhockeycounts.com , worth checking out.

May 24 the tour resumes in Canada.

She seems like such a good human. The pandemic cost her 2 world championships, yet she talks about how her time in Calgary extended her career, and talks about wanting to make space on the national team for young players, and focused on the positive of increased media attention around women’s hockey. Inspiring.
A real changing of the guard for USA - at the national team level Knight is the only one left born in the 80’s. Knight and Bellamy made their debuts with the 2006(!) 4 Nations Cup, incredible. Lams and Marvin were also on that roster. How much of the decade plus dominance is attributable to this crowd?
I started watching women’s hockey in earnest with the 2017 women’s worlds. At the time, I thought it was so storybook that Knight scored in OT in the gold medal winning game, on an assist from Coyne. What I did not realize until recently was that the other 2 US goals in that game were scored by Kacey Bellamy, and she was named the player of the game. Her impact at the 2018 Olympics is also undeniable where she played huge minutes throughout.
Best of luck to her in whatever is next, and I look forward to reading all that is
written about her in the coming days.

Center Cassidy Vinkle (Clarkson '19), who previously was part of the PWPHA has signed with the Buffalo Beauts of the NWHL. Vinkle is the second Beaut to sign after the team re-signed defender and alternate captain Marie-Jo Pelletier to return for a third season last week.

The only other player I've seen that has put pen to paper for 21-22 is Toronto Six captain Shiann Darkangelo who re-signed with the club today.

I would guess that Penn State alum Bella Sutton would be the most famous Mounds View product on this forum.
Lindsey arrived in Columbus in 1999-2000 as part of OSU's Inaugural Varsity Class. Jeanne arrived a year later in 2000-2001. Fine players & fine people in both cases.
As for location, Mounds View High School is located in North Suburban Ramsey County; specifically Arden Hills. Most would consider that area to be part of St. Paul.

Preview from Kirsten Whelan at the Victory Press. Games stream free in the US on Sportsnet.ca Loaded lineups... some players haven’t been on the ice in months so one expects the national team players who went to camps to carry the play more than usual. This should be fun though, games every day for a week.
