We will not get to see or hear any of the game - will be lucky to even see any updates from the scores thread as we have found it difficult at MSG to get a decent connection at times. I hope we can just keep the game close enough to be frustrating to the home team in front of their fans and hope that gets them to either make mistakes or take some extra chances that we can take advantage of. On paper we have very little chance but we are not playing this one on paper. Go Red!!!!!!!! Would love another weekend of hockey!!!!!!

I would love to see one more weekend of hockey myself and any win over Clarkson works for me, especially if it ends their season.

OTOH, We will have to get ready for the off-season thread and a title to go with it. Let’s hope we won’t use it for at least another week… LGR!

RPI lacrosse defeated MIT 19-10. It wasn't that close. RPI put in a backup goalie during the 4th period who let in at least 3. This is the 4th time this season that undefeated RPI (7-0) has scored 19 goals. They have yet to get 20. My money is on the hockey team not getting 20 either. :-) Hopefully they will get over 20 SOGs.

The announcers was quite good although he couldn't deal with the fact that both teams are called the Engineers.

The audio link is taking me to a broadcast of Clarkson's women's team playing Colgate in the ECAC championship playoff. Currently 15 minutes left to play in the third period.

The announcer said that once that game ends, they will switch to the men's game between RPI and Clarkson. Doesn't seem likely that the women's game will end before the time the men's game is scheduled to start. And since it is scoreless in the third period, there is a possibility that the women's game could go overtime.
