Great job by the guys this weekend. As was mentioned earlier, sometimes they look out of sync, but at times they seem to put it together and turn it up. Muzatti seems to be gaining in confidence as the season goes on.

Glad I made the right decision to go to the RPI game rather than watch the Giants get blown out in the first half as I’m writing this.
I wonder when the last time RPI won back-to-back OT games in the same weekend. Just like last night, SLU barely possessed the puck but they did have it for a brief period.
Spoke with someone at the game tonight and she said that Watson strained his knee last night. Hopefully it’s not too serious as they’re going to need him down the road. My bigger question is why Miller over Cherepak?

RPI won two OT games in the same weekend on Dec. 28-29, 2001, in the RPI Invitational Tournament (or Holiday Tournament, or whatever it was being called at that time).

They beat Quinnipiac, 5-4, in double overtime in the first game. Had to play until somebody won, so they could determine who would play in the championship game the next night.

Then they beat UMass, 3-2, in overtime on the second night.

The good old days!! Real hockey with real overtime! Both nights ended real late but we went out for a few drinks after the games anyway.
Take the shortest distance to the puck and arrive in ill humor
