Glad I made the right decision to go to the RPI game rather than watch the Giants get blown out in the first half as I’m writing this.
I wonder when the last time RPI won back-to-back OT games in the same weekend. Just like last night, SLU barely possessed the puck but they did have it for a brief period.
Spoke with someone at the game tonight and she said that Watson strained his knee last night. Hopefully it’s not too serious as they’re going to need him down the road. My bigger question is why Miller over Cherepak?Last edited by RPI fan 4 life; 01-21-2023, 09:03 PM.

RPI won two OT games in the same weekend on Dec. 28-29, 2001, in the RPI Invitational Tournament (or Holiday Tournament, or whatever it was being called at that time).
They beat Quinnipiac, 5-4, in double overtime in the first game. Had to play until somebody won, so they could determine who would play in the championship game the next night.
Then they beat UMass, 3-2, in overtime on the second night.
