I'm speechless. First we give up two goals at the beginning of the period, and then we have no response.
These guys have to wake up.

What a revolting development this is! My comments after the first period are now carried forward. Defense just seems to be mailing it in. We are losing most of the battles for the puck along the boards. We4 seem to wave at the puck with one hand instead of any force to our passes. I am not sure how the Brown first goal went in but it was just a simple shot from an angle from the boards. Brown seems to have watched a lot of film as they have gone high short side for several shots as Marshall has been going down but not holding the post tight.
We are going to need some sort of break to pull this one out as we look a bit slow and winded at the end of the second period. We do not look like the same team as we were before the Christmas break.

According to RPI-TV's graphic, RPI's net was empty when they were called for icing.

Normally, the rule is that if a team ices the puck, the guys who were on the ice have to remain on the ice. No substitutions are allowed. I guess an exception is made if the goalie is off the ice and then the faceoff comes back into the defensive zone.
