St. Olaf beats Lake Forest 6-0

First Forrester goalie gave up 3 goals on 4 shots, not a great way to start a game. 2nd one gave up 3 goals on 36 shots.

Very intrigued to see what Lawrence can do against SNC tomorrow....

I really like the format of the SNC/CSS/LU tournament.

SNC and CSS play each other during conference play and don't need to meet in another tourney. It gives natural rivals SNC & LU a regular meeting - something which had been lacking for several years. It sets their plans on this weekend, and allows them to bring in another team. I hope it continues for years to come.

Time for SNC to put its 29-0 record vs. Vikings on the line!

Not ALL Vikings - just the Lawrence University kind.

And, yes, I am well aware that Lawrence's record books indicate they have a win against SNC. That was in the first year Lawrence's team played in the NCAA, but it was the last year it was a club sport at SNC.

I agree, the format is perfect. Lawrence and Marian don't need to play each other five times during a season. Lawrence and SNC should be playing each other once a year. I think a "tournament" setting makes it all the more interesting.
