How many 12 hour bus rides are there currently in the MCHA ?
Not sure about 12-hour rides, but Google has Finlandia - Adrian at about 10.5 hours by car, so probably about 11.5 by bus.

Northland - Adrian is about 12 by car, again per Google.

jerrynu26, I fixed your post. Thanks for that clarification.

Well, I think MSOE is the closest to Adrian, and that's got to be about 6 hours by bus, right?

A few years back, Brockport started having some 4:00 Saturday conference games (A number of schools do have Saturday afternoon games for nonconference games).

At that time, the SUNYAC did consider making the Saturday afternoon conference games a permanent fixture across the board. But, they decided against it, and kept to the Friday night/Saturday night scheduling. (The basketball SUNYAC schedule always has Saturday afternoon games.)

I do think that attendance is probably better when the game is in the evening than afternoon. I also wonder how much teams didn't like the shorter rest period between games.

Remember when games used to start at 7:30? Then, various leagues started to change that to 7:00, and everyone followed.

Elmira used to always start their home games at 7:30.

                  The key is balance

NC games between Wick, Platty & Midd excluding the Primelink
I would have to agree with Prez about balance. Wick seems to have done it correctly with NC games involving Midd & Platty. They played Platty @ home this year and Midd away. Next year Wick will play these teams @ reverse sites. Platty played both Midd & Wick away this year and will be home for both next year. Midd played both Wick & Platty at home this year and will be away for both next year. This same shedule has been going on for awhile and I would assume it will continue since these teams like to play each other for strength of schedule and tradition

Midd and Platty need to swap years, then everybody would have one home game and one away game with the Champy triangle teams every year.

With the disolve of the Primelink to only three hosts sites screwed up Plattsburghs home/away series with the teams

The Leb Valley situation has changed Elmira's schedule from the one I originally posted. Dates and times are not set, and we have 1 more game to schedule.
ECAC-West teams will still only play each other 3 times. Our NC schedule has: Plattsburgh(A), Oswego(H&A), Morrisville(H&A), Cortland(H), Geneseo(A), Brockport(A), Fredonia(A), Skidmore Tournament(A), Curry(H). I will post when it is complete.

I'd think a team like Curry would love to have a team like Elmira on the schedule and vice versa. Good for both teams.

                                What's the problem?
