2024-25 Schedules

Havent seen Adrian's 2024 schedule but they have been making early trips East-Utica-the last couple years.

It’s relatively close for them. You can only play so many NC games against Trine.

I would like to see SNC schedule NESCAC teams more consistently. The style of play out of that league seems to give top western teams the most problems.

Much tougher schedule this year. The UCHC isn't a one-team conference anymore.

Still don't why Genny and Brockport defected, but I'm looking forward to seeing them.

I know zero about Keen St..but they have the NCAA's on their calendar....never know???

I know that there have been some scrutiny about some times in college basketball and football where they weren't allowed to play in the national tournament/bowl games due to some dumb "transition period" rule from going d2 to d1. Does that rule also somehow apply for new teams at the d3 level?

It is funny how many schools list out the NCAA schedule. Even funnier for certain schools, if you know what I mean... :-)

Only if the school itself is new to D3. Not if an already established D3 school is simply adding a new sport.

And it's not dumb. It's very smart. The NCAA wants to make sure you know how to abide by the rules of whatever division you are moving towards. And that includes all the rules of recruiting, scholarships, practice dates, scheduling, etc. This way, during the probationary period, you can make a mistake (not follow the rules) and you won't be punished for it. It will be considered a learning experience to make sure you get it right before it really counts. You can knock one year off the probationary period if you show the NCAA that you got it down pat and haven't made any mistakes.

If you remember way back when Morrisville was moving from a 2-year JUCO school to a NCAA D3 school, I wrote a number of articles on it, with extensive interviews with their coach and AD. Very informative. And very sensible. And no one from Morrisville had any problem with it. In fact, they were glad there was a probationary period.
