I think if Hobart is the highest remaining eastern region team, then they should host. I don't care what their rink looks like.

      I tend to agree.

      The higher seed should host.

The Cooler is an absolutely awful place to watch a game, but that's not exactly on Hobart.

Talking to higher level people, yes, technically Hobart could host. But they don’t see it happening.

But here’s something interesting — apparently Utica can’t host. Did the Comets decide not to be flexible?

And for what it's worth, rumor has it Adrian will be the host if Utica doesn't win tonight
          Yeah, I get that.

Was just speaking to how razor-thin the comparisons are this season.

It's anybody's championship -but to repeat myself- Hobart and Adrian look like the pick of the litter to me.

I just can’t see any way possible that happens. At all. And i bet Hobart announces a new rink or on-campus rink within a year if they are in position to host FF this year and can’t.

              I’m hearing the exact opposite….

                • Watching the Point v. Adrian game. Looks like Adrian has added some bleacher seating in the corners.

                  • Scoreless after 1 in Geneva. Curry looks good...definitely carried play for parts of the 1st period. I thought Hobart looked better as the period wore on. Definitely had the better of play in the last 5-7 minutes of the period. Hobart's Belov hit the post late in the period..3/4 of an inch to the left and it is 1-0...not sure the Curry goalie even flinched on that one.

I hope so. My source is now backing down on this, saying he now hears Utica can host.

Do all the logos have to come off the ice and NCAA go on it? I know the dasher boards must only have NCAA and the final 4 teams.

Looks like no one will show up, unless Hobart gets there.

                          (But I think it will.)

Endicott is the highest remaining East seed that has a facility capable of hosting. Pretty sure it’s headed to Beverly.
