Seeing how inter-squad and exhibition games are starting soon I figured I would start the new thread for the SUNYAC. I am going to be posting the information I have found so far on the rosters but with it being difficult to find recruits and transfers this year it won't be as in depth as before, I know everyone is disappointed in that HAHA. I have 2 done so far Geneseo and Plattsburgh and I am finishing up Buffalo State, Brockport and Ferdonia. I will add the others as I see the rosters updated.

Even with the lost season of 20-21 Geneseo brings back a Veteran team with only 7 new players (One being a D1 transfer). From the 2019-2020 season they lost a bunch of scoring but with the amount of players coming back they could redeem the scoring lost. There are not a lot of big question marks on this team, the biggest I would say is the goaltending, like with most teams in the SUNYAC. Matthew Petizian gets the chance to be the number one after a steady Freshman season and Adam Harris comes in to challenge after a pretty good JR career. As long as those 2 can give this team some solid play and then the new players and the returning players in new roles can make up for the lost scoring the Ice Knights will be back battling for the top spot.Last edited by dmac1103; 10-10-2021, 04:00 PM.

Plattsburgh has been on a downward spiral the last few years, they finished 5th in 19-20 as compared to finishing 1st in 15-16. Going into this season there was a lot of wondering because of the players lost. This team has 18 new players including 5 D1 transfers and 2 players who were committed to D1 teams originally. There wasn’t a ton of offense when this team competed in 19-20 but judging by the players coming in it looks like Coach Moffat may have fixed that issue. They also added more grit, as if this team needed more because they were a hard team to play against, they also brought in some size to their Defense which was much needed also. There are still question marks with this team because they have 18 new players but if the skaters can gel the offense and defense should be good. The biggest question on this team, like Geneseo, is Goaltending. Plattsburgh lost a great goalie in Jimmy Poreda who battled every night to keep the team in a tight scoring game. Bradon Wells comes back but only has 7 games of experience, Anthony Del Tufo comes in after a good Junior career where in the last year he shared the Number one duties and Jacob Hearne comes in also after a good Junior career were he was set to battle for the Number one spot for the Toronto Jr, Canadians in the OJHL. So it is basically a 3 way race to see who will grab that top spot.

Looks like a nice job by the coaching staff to bring in some good lookin players, with some experience...again the netminding will be the BIG ???.....seems like it will with a bunch of teams, look for platty to perhaps bring in a netminder mid-season ,seems to be going in that way all around college sports...thanks for the updates

Brockport has a good mix of new comers and vets for this year, some of the guys back this year played in 19-20 as regulars in the lineup including points leader Ryan Romeo. Where the Golden Eagles are going to feel the losses is in net, gone is Matthew Schneider who helped steal games. Back is Aidan Curry who was the backup but only played 4 games his Freshman year, they brought in Nolan Egbert as a transfer from UMass-Boston where he was also a backup playing in 7 games total and Dylan Wiemer who had 29 GP, 2.66 GAA and .917 SV% for the East Coast Wizards in the EHL. It looks like the Offense and Defense can take care of their sides it will depend on the 3 goalies in determining how Brockport's season will go.Brockport Andrew Harley F SO Chris Aarons F FR Jake Colosanti F SR Trevor Pray F SR Tyler Knicley F SO Jacob King F FR Robert Flannery F SR Michael Meredith F SO Scott Ramaekers F JR Mitchell Parsons F SR Connor Galloway F SO Tim Cronin F SO Kevin Mainello F JR Zach Norby F JR Sam Dibitetto F SR Anthony Hora D JR Tyler Rossi D FR AJ Przystawski D JR Jake Mendeszoon D FR Corey Tam D SR Casey Winn D GR Cam Barbagallo D SO Jacob Rodrigue D FR Logan Warner D JR Jordan Rosenbaum D FR Ryan Romeo D GR Aidan Curry G JR Nolan Egbert G SR Dylan Wiemer G SO

If Buffalo State had a year to break through into the top 2 positions this would be the year. They have a vet team that will help them in all zones and help them with leadership. The biggest plus is in net with former Goaltender of the year Emil Norrman and a SR backup with starting experience in Connor Minch. Barring injuries I would say Buff State should be able to hang with all the teams in the SUNYAC at least on paper.Buffalo State Reid Bibb F SR Connor Bizal F FR Bryan Colburn F SR Braeden Daust F SR Josef Glamos F SO Nikita Kozyrerf F JR AJ Marinelli F SR Michael McCosh F FR Anthony Morin F FR Mathew Pasic F SO Joel Frazee F JR Kerry Kruzel F SO Jared Figueroa F FR Andrew Logar F SR Tyler Vanuden F JR Parker Allison D JR Brandon Zack D GR Troy Button D GR Roger Powers D SR Jackson Barrett D JR Hayden Ford D SR Regnars Udris D SO Timur Gavrilovich D SO Lucas Patton D JR Emil Norrman G JR Connor Minch G SR Reilly Moyer G FR Last edited by dmac1103; 10-30-2021, 01:14 PM.

Looking at who is coming back and coming in for Cortland I would say this is going to be a Jekyll and Hyde team, they can be good but then it depends on how the new comers play with the vets. One new comer that is intriguing is goaltender Jack Riedell who had some good stats his last year in the USPHL. This team will be one of those trap teams, they may lose big but they may win a few games as well.Cortland Sutter Donegan F SO Ethan Homitz F SR Anthony Bernardo F SR Matt Jahn F JR Luca Esposito F JR Shane Beaulieu F SR Jona Hildreth F SO Jon Murphy F SO Nate Berke F SO Dorian Overland F SR Michael Sciore F SR Jake Ballagh F JR Billy McDevitt F SO Trevor Veneklse F JR Andrew Clifford F FR Alex Storjohann F GR Domenic Settimo F FR Cameron Knowlton F SO Nick Grupp D JR Giancarlo Romano D JR Johnny Facchini D FR Liam Anderson D SO Andrew Clouden D FR Jacob Gaydos D SR John Kuhl D SO Luca Durante G JR Owen Zdunski G SR Jack Riedell G SO Last edited by dmac1103; 10-30-2021, 01:24 PM.

Fredonia is a team that is going to be in for a long season based on their team on paper, but this team is going to be a feel good team. They named Tanner Kahlau as the team captain after his passing which was the right thing to do to honor him. Based on returning players and newcomers I don't see this team pushing for a playoff spot, more like trying to stay out of last place.Fredonia Chandler Judd F SR Matt Letmanski F SR Tanner Kahlau F SR * Ryan Bailey F FR Owen Van Holtz F SO Shane Gilbert F SO Bryce Witman F JR Parker Brakebill F SO Gregg Lee F JR Antonio Demacopoulos F JR Ethan Kirbis F SR Johnny Malandruccolo F FR Andrew Keith F SO Clayton Dawe F SO Jake Blackwell F SO David Sudbrink F SO Brendan Dempsey F SO Craig McCabe D JR Cam Birkeland D SO Adam Hawkins D SO Anders Johnson D JR Eric Hirschhaut D SR Johnny Aonso D SO Johan Zollner D FR Kurri Woodford D SO Kiernan Furlonger D SO Ricky Napoli D SO Ryan Pascarella G SR Logan Dyck G SO Zach Willms G SO Last edited by dmac1103; 10-30-2021, 01:32 PM.
