I actually knew that, but they still have been gifted a couple of AQ's just the same, and for no good reason.

D-3 has come a very long way via the PWR, but the Plymouth States of the world have just served as cannon-fodder for far too long now. One and done teams from weak conferences shouldn't garner berths simply by dint of winning a weak-sister league, IMO.

Definitely would be nice to play them more in the future. I see them being a formidable squad in the MASCAC year in and year out. Not sure the NEHC will be looking for any new teams anytime soon unless something crazy happens now that Elmira is added next year to get the league back to 10, but if for some reason an opening came, Plymouth State would seem like a great fit at this point. Already a member on the women's side too...

Plymouth was shut down after playing only two games, no access to any training, gym time etc. due to COVID protocols, then had to get right back at it with Babson and Norwich. Needed to be better on some execution and did not have one of their captains who is on the powerplay, but they definitely pushed Norwich. Pity the teams don't play each other more often. That would be a treat.

Plymouth State is no joke. Coach Russell has built up a fine program over there and I can very easily see why they won the mascac last year and I would have loved to have seen that Endicott/Plymouth game last year...
I was also very impressed with Plymouth State. Very solid team. For whatever reason, I didn't have a doubt all weekend that Norwich would win, but Plymouth definitely impressed me.

What do you have to say folks?
Picking up right where they left off last year. It is kinda hard to watch knowing this team can't play for more and knowing we probably won't see the same team when we get back to competitive play...that being said, we have been lucky to watch this team and I am happy they have handled the whole thing with class and continuing their dominance.

Okay, just a suggestion here... loosen the gimbal knob, purchase a new tripod, or find a steadier hand...

    Change for this weekend!
Both games vs Plymouth State will now be at Kreitzberg!
No game Friday night. Men will host Plymouth Saturday at 5 and Sunday at 2 or 3.
