    [QUOTE=pete99race;6624035]Penalty minutes per game: Adrian: 449/29 = 15.5. Point: 380/28 = 14.1
    Average penalty minutes in two games they played this season: Adrian -- 39.5, Point -- 36.
    /QUOTE]

    In comparison, SNC and Adrian have played three games this season (to date), average penalty minutes for each per game were:
    Adrian = 18.7, SNC = 13.7.....
    Each game has gone into OT, with SNC winning twice and Adrian once.

    SNC and Point played one game (to date) this season.
    Penalty minutes: SNC - 2, Point - 12.
    SNC won 2 -- 1.

    Players with 20 or more points: Adrian -- 8 Point -- 5.
    Players with 30 or more points: Adrian -- 4 Point -- 2.
    Players with 40 or more points: Adrian -- 0 Point -- 1...Tanner Karty with 48...#4 in total points in country.

    Point's average goals scored dropped below 4.0 per game for the first time in several seasons.
    Home ice advantage to Adrian.
    Overall, looks like a pretty tight comparison.
    Penalties will likely play a major factor in this game, based on trend in last three seasons.

    The big question in my mind is who will throw the knockout punch.

    Nothing says slap on the wrist like being given a public reprimand.
    My favorite part is:
    “We will follow the NCAA’s ruling to a T,” said Adrian College athletic director Mike Duffy. “We did wrong."

    Then two paragraphs later:
    The Division III Men’s Hockey Committee examined the matter and issued the suspensions and reprimands. Adrian appealed the decision last summer. However, the Division III Championships Committee upheld the original ruling.

    A little hypocritical, eh?
