Standing tall after the Primelink Tournament is Plattsburgh, who technically beat Middlebury and tied Norwich in Northfield, Vt., but won the tournament in the second overtime session 6-5.

Last I checked it's still a win, so "technically" Plattsburgh beat Norwich in Northfield, Vt. and won the tournament in the one and only overtime......and people wonder why jokes are made at the "reporting"....

Last I checked it's still a win, so "technically" Plattsburgh beat Norwich in Northfield, Vt. and won the tournament in the one and only overtime......and people wonder why jokes are made at the "reporting"....

This reporter needs to research before speaking....very poor journalism !! The Primelink site had all the needed information about the overtime format, and even if it was a regular OT...the winning goal was scored at the 4:15 mark !!!

Probably part of the problem came from the error in the original stats.

It has now been fixed but still point remains.

Completely outplayed for the first 2 periods. Couldn't complete a pass for anything. Came to life in the 3rd, but it wasn't enough. Get the W tomorrow in Geneseo, and 3pts is NOT a bad result on this particular road trip.
