      A solid retirement?

For the sake of conversation, what about Oswego's Mark Digby?

He's ours and they can't have him. On a serious note I think he would do great as a head coach.

I still think it will be Coach Sinclair or an Ivy Assistant. The NESCAC is unique and unless you understand its quirks, frustration could set in for somebody used to a "freer" structure.

I think Jamie Dumont (current assistant at Bowdoin) has a strong playing and coaching resume and could be a solid candidate....but Meagher is probably not that far away from retirement and he may be waiting for that opportunity.

At Hamilton College, he assisted in improving the team from last place in the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC), to a regular-season title during the 2010-11 campaign. While at the Clinton, NY, institution, he recruited many talented student-athletes, including the 2011 NESCAC Rookie of the Year, Michael DiMare. In 2010 and 2011, the Continentals' coaches were named NESCAC Coaching Staff of the Year.

I'm surprised it took so long to catch up with him. I guess the burden of proof is higher for the "untouchable" schools.
