Actualy no. Last 25% is 6-7 games depending on how long you stay in play.
But I was wrong about the eventual L25 numbers, not being a math major myself.
If Amherst beats Tufts, but loses the NESCAC final, Trinty's L25 is 5-1 (.833) and Amherst's would be 6-1 (.857)
The "Miracle" was winning the Gold Medal Game against the Finns. I'm biased, I was there.

Wins against Midd and Bowdoin don't carry the cache it once did. So if you are telling me that the last 25% matters, then I'm not impressed if they can't seal a spot vs a perennial NESCAC also ran. I still say Trinity needs Amherst to win out to get consideration for at large bid. Not a Trinity hater, just trying to speculate with objectivity with the realization there is plenty of subjectivity in the equation.

The only thing that matters as far as Last 25% is the raw record, regardless of who you played in those 7 games... It's not right, but it is what it is.

Trinity needs to hope that there is only one conference upset next weekend. If there are two, they'll be sweating.

Plus, let's see how much they are punished for losing at home to the #8 seed. When it happened to Norwich a few years ago, that's all she wrote.

Norwich was 13-8-2 or something like that and in no position for a Pool C.

Conn and Tufts advance to the NESCAC semis and once again, Middlebury has a one game post-season. The title of bottom feeder has been awarded to a formerly great program. Congrats to the Camels and Jumbos for breaking free and competing hard.

Amherst gets the gift with Trinity losing to Tufts and will now host the conference finals series. The title is theirs to lose against the upstart Jumbos and whomever comes thereafter. Williams and Conn College is an evenly match game, but it remains to be seen how the Camels will handle the pressure of being in the semi-final spotlight. This is uncharted territory for Conn. The Ephs would dearly like to get the finals and knock off their hated rival Lord Jeffs. Would love to see a Camel / Jumbo final, but cooler heads will prevail. More than likely it will be purple and gold vs purple and white. Amherst has it going and will take the final.

If Amherst gets to the NESCAC final and loses, how then can Trinity be judged ahead of Amherst for an at-large bid?
Amherst and Williams advance to the final. Two close games and well played. I believe my question regarding Trinity is still valid. If the Ephs break through for their first NESCAC title in a close 3-2 type of game, how can Amherst not advance to the NCAA's over the Bantams. Unless, of course, the NCAA tournament has 3 NESCAC teams in the mix. Williams has to win outright to make it. Not sure Amherst does. Trinity needs the Lord Jeffs to win to get them a pool C consideration which they should get over Williams. Otherwise, I think they are sitting on the sidelines the second consecutive year. No?

No. If Williams => 3 NESCAC based on the last public ranking.

Have 3 NESCAC teams ever advanced to the NCAA tournament before? New territory for the smart guy conference?

I doubt it will happen now...one of the C's will probably go to Oswego and another to a western team.

Both Amherst and Trinity were ranked above Oswego in the final public ranking. If Williams wins, what would put Oswego above either of those schools?

                              The key is Hobart.

We will never know what the final rankings will be, especially if Williams wins ! Hobart has their hands full right now in OT !
