      A. It was a joke
      B. Had nothing to do with the title....we get it...

Why would Wisco make this decision??

Honesty, I was worried this might happen.

Now, the original non-conference tuesday night matchup in November scheduled with St. Thomas seems more appealing...

A closed door "practice" is not worth losing a game in the schedule in my opinion. I'm really disappointed with this.

You know, I tend to agree with this. It doesn't seem to make sense to me, either. An exhibition game, or even an honest-to-goodness scrimmage, I could understand. But what looks to be a couple of hours of a practice, I don't get this one.

Questioning the logic behind this scrimmage/practice/whatever implies you're questioning the logic of Tim Coghlin. I don't know the reasoning behind it, but the historical track record suggests that anyone who doesn't think this is being done for specific reasons should stop huffing the Glade before it does any permanent damage.
I wish I am able to live long enough to do all the things I was attributed to.

Agree. But once again silly restrictions get in the way of an opportunity to capitalze on this.
Totally understand the disappointment from fans point of view.
From SNC's Coach & Players perspective this has much more upside that the historical NC games that have been scheduled.

Not sure how Wisconsin will derive any great benefit from this, unless it give players that don't get a lot of play a chance to show their stuff.

Nah, on both those scenarios. I think most likely it would look something like this http://collegehockeystats.net/1112/boxes/mdarnrw1.o23 and that is one theory why Wisconsin may have wanted it closed to the public.
