Actually NU pays McShane pretty well - Neumann, not so much. Everybody knows NU(R) stands for Norwich, not Neumann - find your own set of initials you Johnny-come-latelys

I was under the impression that Norwich was one of the better paying D3 jobs??

I would absolutely, 100%, rather live in Rutland than Philly.

However, if I were a D3 coach, I would rather coach at Neumann than Castleton.

It will be interesting to see the route they take. Certainly there was some controversy (at least among Norwich fans, and some others) as to whether Coach Todd coached an aggressive style of play or a dirty one. Will the new coach emphasize skill and speed, or will he emphasize strength and hitting?

Castleton Press Release on Alex Todd leaving Castleton. I was talking to another D3 player in the ECAC E playoffs who had played Castleton and reported Castleton did in fact play a very aggressive brand of hockey. But I give Coach Todd a lot of credit for defeating the big 3 in the Champlain Valley, Norwich, Middlebury, and Plattsburgh. Also I recall a game in Plattsburgh a couple of years ago when they beat D3 final 4 year Utica.
