I have some family issues coming up and don't have time to run it. If somebody wants to pick it up, thanks.
Joe
I can do this
If you are a person who lost out in the Last Person Standing Contest either because you forgot to enter - (I know of at least one of those) or because you pick came up bad - you are now officially a potential contestant in the LPS Loser's Bracket. In the loser's bracket, your job is to pick the losing team in one of the weekend's contests (Fri - Sunday games are in play). Each loser can only be used one time (no fair to to keep picking Morrisville all season long) You hang around as long as you are successful. We will be joined as we proceed by contestants who lose out in the LPS contest - that potentially includes me.
So ... fire away. You must post your pick before the first puck drop each week, and we will continue until no players remain. The last player eliminated is the champion. We will pick up potential new players until the start of the NCAAs - at that point the field is frozen. I'll make a list of LPS dropouts shortly, but if you are not among the 8 people still alive in the LPS game, you are eligible.

Morrisville just tied Hamilton in OT. Being new to this, I can jump in after and if I get knocked out of LPS?
If you get knocked out of LPS, this is your next step. You pick losers instead of winners. The longer you last in LPS, the better your chances are because you won't run out of the Salves, Morrisvilles, UNEs, etc of the world quite as fast to stay alive this far - but of course, the scary part is sometimes they win a game ..

"I just don't know what to think. I play in Colorado, they tell me they like me, and I get traded. I play in Calgary, and at the end of the season the GM tells me he likes me, and I get traded. I just hope my fiancee doesn't tell me she likes me."
