Given the difficult logistics it would likely be played only if needed..likely Mon/Tues
I think the game will be played. I like the Bantams to pick up at least 3pts vs Wesleyan x 2, Middlebury to get 2pts minimum, the same for Williams. Amherst may get anywhere from 0 to 4pts. Either way, I see the Trinity and Bowdoin playing to decide the Bantams final position in the standings. That will set up the question of how much Bowdoin will want to be involved.
With the standings so close heading into the final weekend, it is very likely the Trinity/Bowdoin game would have an impact on the final standings. Trinity has two games with Wesleyan, who can't move up or down in the standings.
I just visited the Brooks School website, and when I went to "athletic facilities" I found it interesting that they don't even mention a hockey arena! I was wondering what the size of the sheet might be.
should be a great game approximately 1/2 way between schools and important to seedings for league tourny
Both teams are also prime candidates to take the NESCAC tourney regardless of seeding and Bowdoin is in the running for a pool c bid if they don't win the NESCAC so a win vs a ranked opponent could help in NCAA seedings as well.

For the same reason I just posted, Bowdoin can't afford to lose a game let alone against a ranked opponent, especially if they don't win the NESCAC auto bid.

The hockey rink is mentioned on the school website as being attached to the Brooks Athletic Center. No mention is made as to the size of the sheet
Murky NESCAC standings became clearer last night with all teams playing to form with the exception of Williams/Amherst where the Ephs get a very big win on the road under heavy pressure most of the night. Today Middlebury and Amherst face off to determine 4th place which is the difference in playing at home next week or on the road. Either way, the Jeffs and Panthers are likely in for a rematch next Saturday with the location still in doubt. Should be another toss up game. Trinity can still grab second spot alone by taking out Wesleyan after the Cardinals came so close to a win before succumbing in OT and then with Bowdoin in the make up game Monday. Bowdoin should lock up first today and Colby has a great opportunity to take 7th (who'd a thunk that a few weeks ago?) Camels can stiil make it but have to get by the Polar Bears on the road = unlikely and as a result will finish 1pt behind Hamilton for 8th. Wesleyan is on stand by waiting for their opponent TBA. Williams will need Trinity to falter to have any shot at 2nd outright.
If Bowdoin and Trinty go with their #1's tomorrow, goals will be hard to come by. We will see the two goalies tied for best save percentage in the country going up against each other. Benjamin Coulthard of Trinity and Max Fenkell of Bowdoin lead the nation with .941 save percentages. Fenkell has the slight edge in GAA (1.73 to 2.02) but Coulthard has done it over 19 games to Fenkell's 10. If I haven't already jinxed it, Fenkell is also the only qualifying tendy with a 0 in the loss column this year.
Bowdoin might not mind if they lose to the Bants. This result knocks Midd down to the 5 seed and sends them on the road back to Amherst where they traditionally do not do well. The PBears do not want to see the Panthers in their barn. Midd has spoiled too many Bowdoin parties over the years in the NESCAC final 4.
