I never heard of the player until Saturday night but Wentworth's Mike Domsodi, 6-3, 215 from Nanaimo of the BCHL is one of the best forwards I have seen this year. His stats of 19-16-35 are good too. Too bad he plays for a team that doesn't play a strong out of confrence schedule. It seemed like he played half the game for Wentworth last night.

How could you leave Zack Josepher from oswego out for D, that Guy is a solid first team AA

He didn't even make first team All-SUNYAC so calling him a solid First Team AA is a bit of a stretch I would say. Take the green and gold colored glasses off friend.

Likely because he was only selected (i.e. voted by the SUNYAC coaches) to the 2nd team all-sunyac squad. Someone please correct me if I'm mistake, but in the past it's been almost impossible for a player who only earns 2nd or 3rd team all-league status, to earn 1st team all-american honors (or 2nd team for that matter). Part of the reason for this is that the ballot that is distributed to all coaches includes only players who were selected to their respective all-league teams, and it also includes which team (1st, 2nd or 3rd) they were selected to. It's unusual that the coaches at-large would vote for someone as an all-american that - rightly or wrongly- wasn't selected as a 1st team player by the coaches in his own league.

I don't think guys that are selected to third team are eligible since not every conference has three teams.

But it's not uncommon for guys who made 2nd team to get AA. All-conference is only based on league points.

When Josepher is on there is not a better two way defender in SUNYAC. However he had too many games early in the season where he played soft and turned the puck over in front of his own net.

I think he's playing big in the big games, now.

Also, the point production from his d-partner was a pleasant surprise.

This is what I think a great player is, lifting your teammates abilities.

Great to see the recognition for Grace, and Cadieux is one of only two sophomores in the East. Nice!

Hare wasn't eligible. But McDonald had no place being an All-American this year. 3.11 GAA and .897 SV%. Brutal.
