While discussing the Huskies yesterday, a friend told me "cheer up, things could be worse". So I cheered up, and sure enough, things got worse.

I though St.C did pretty good last night and went toe to toe with us. Both teams went at it pretty hard. I sat right across the isle from some St.C fans and they were preyy loud but polite. I felt sorry for them when the half dozen UNO fans sitting in front of them took their sweet time getting their *****es seated when they arrived or got back from concessions/bathrooms.

If the fans you're talking about were in Section 103, that was us. Man, what a tease. And yeah, you guys need to teach your fans ice courtesy but its ok, I've seen a lot worse.

You guys had a nice arena and good fans. Omaha was actually pretty fun too, what we saw of it. Good luck to you guys rest of the way, and hope you sell it out to beat Bucky next weekend.

P.S. - REALLY? You guys chant Ole!?!? Not only is that a soccer chant, but you want to steal something from Mankato?

This team has never, NEVER, been defensively-minded. They're just supposed to clog their lanes, attempt to not be road cones...and drive the puck to the net.

Colin Peters and Brian Gaffney come to mind in being just bad at defense.

Greg Tam, Nate Wright, Jim McNamara, Joel Peterson, Ryan Johnson...Craig Gaudet...Nic Rioux....

That's just since you've been a fan.

AND i bet Johnson has more points than most of them combined. In two years.

Ok. I have been watching this team since 2001 and I have never seen a defenseman play defense as poorly as him. The fact he still starts and is on the pp is mind boggling.

We've been KNOWN for bad defenders. Most of the defenders were forwards who couldn't score...and Johnson is the worst!??! no way.
